I got approval to take off a few hours from work. I called in to schedule to train at Harvey Field. At 11am to 1pm slot since there was room on the online schedule. At 11am I started preflight checks. I waited until 11:45 and the Chief CFI never showed up to the plane. WTH! Bad reputation! How often does this occur with other students? I will take my training somewhere else. A student is a paying customer. The customers time is valuable. I know pilots have to be flexible, be positive, adapt and overcome to change. I’m not a pilot yet. The staff should be flexible and adapt to the customers. Apparently today my time as the customer was taken for granted. And apparently the lack of communication between the staff at the counter and the Chief CFI was the cause this customer service issue. Snohomish Flying Service and Harvey Field you should be embarrassed. By the way Snohomish County Flying Service, the plane that I did a preflight check needs fuel and needs air in the left tire.
