   I did my private pilot training here from August of 2007 until March of 2008. I still rent planes from them to maintain my currency and do my Bi-Annual flight reviews.    We are not Pilots but we did the Flight Simulator. It was a total blast and I highly recommend it to everybody. You take off and land all over the world. Myron was awesome. Yelp, Username: James

   Southwest Flight Center has been nothing less than amazing. All of the instructors I’ve met seem to genuinely love teaching (instead of the all too common time builders). The people working the front desk have always been very friendly and prompt (minor maintenance issues are resolved quickly). Their aircraft are clean, well taken care of, and always seem to be available. The prices are cheaper than or comparable to anything else in the area for equal equipment.

   In reference to Brent S. experience: I’ve continued to get recurrent training here after getting my PPL with them, and have never had an issue checking out an aircraft while doing so. If that was previously the culture here, it certainly isn’t now. – Yelp, Username: Thomas S

   I have a Cessna R182 that I park in the Greenway shades. Any time I’ve needed anything, southwest flight Center has always been more than helpful! For instance, I didn’t have a Skybound USB adapter to update my Garman, and SW. Flight Center allowed me to update my card using their equipment in a pinch for a checkride. When my plane went in for an avionics upgrade, I was able to get checked out in several Southwest flight center’s planes, and use them to get around. Also, the maintenance shop, especially George, has been fantastic. They fit me in for an oil change immediately, and also have been a fantastic source of little parts that I needed here and there. They are an asset to the industry and to the people who share this field with them.

   I’m a visiting pilot. I came in at 2:30pm on a Friday wondering if there was someone available to just let me take off and do a couple touch and goes just to add a new state and airport to the logbook. They were able to accommodate me in an hour. I got to fly around a little bit of the airspace, and did a few landings with Mr. John Bass. Had a good time and was told I could come back and rent the plane anytime. Many thanks! Yelp, Phil R
