   I bought my boyfriend a certificate as a gift so he could do his biennial flight review. Dave, the owner, was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. My boyfriend has been flying for about 10 years, and had trained and flown at flight schools in the northeast and southeast. When he got home after his training with Dave, he was very impressed and happy with his experience at Desert Spirits Aviation. He said it was one of the best experiences he has had in dealing with a flight school. In fact, he has checked out the other flight schools in Tucson and has decided to do his flight instructor license with Desert Spirits. I also thought it was nice of the owner to invite me to come along on the flight, unfortunately, I had to work.    We had a Groupon for a one hour flight for 2 and it was easy to use, and a great experience.
   We got to choose where to fly to and after some conversation and introduction we settled on flying out to the Kitt Peak, Baboquivary area. The Owner, David Guy, gave us a great introduction to flying and made our day! If you want to have a great experience I’d fully recommend flying with him. – Yelp, Username: Douglas W

   A friend and I bought vouchers for the exploratory flight and we were both unable to reach them to redeem the vouchers. I tried calling and leaving a voicemail and sending a message on their website. My friend called twice and left voicemails weeks apart. She noted that the voicemail box was never full so they must be checking it. We thought this was a scam but the reviews just tell us that they pick and choose their customers. Do not buy their vouchers via Groupon/Amazon Local Deals or whatever unless you have reached them and scheduled something. Luckily, Amazon gave us a full refund. Those things should honestly read: “DISCLAIMER: WE PICK AND CHOOSE CUSTOMERS REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAD ALREADY BOUGHT A VOUCHER” – Yelp, Username: Donna W

   Wonderful flight experience. David, owner and instructor, is friendly, professional and knows his stuff! He’s truly passionate about flying and tries to impart this on his passengers. On the Discovery Flight, you’re able to fly pretty much wherever you want, provided it fits within the time frame and is not a closed airspace area. Also, David is not a stickler about the amount of time up in the air. A must try for anyone wanting to see the beauty of the Tucson area in a whole new way! Groupon.com, Username: SUSAN C.

   Bought a lesson and ride for two for my husband’s birthday. We had such a great time, we bought a lesson for my dad. The owner/pilot is a fantastic teacher, who makes you feel confident and at ease during your first flight. My husband and dad really enjoyed their lessons, both said they would fly with Desert Spirits Aviation again. Groupon, Username: Unknown
