My landing are always perfect in Conocrd. Great place to visit, gas is easy to get, food and shopping close by. Google, Username: A Google User
The Buchanan Field Public Viewing Plaza, 201 John Glenn Drive, Concord, CA includes an airport control tower, ticket counter, and airplane play structures. There are picnic tables under two umbrella shade structures and another area with benches and bleachers where the public can hear the communications between the Air Traffic Control Tower and aircraft movement overhead. The paved plaza is enclosed by a fence with two gates, it has a 50 foot diagram of the airfield runways painted on the ground, and has become a popular location with local play groups who enjoy the aviation activities of the airport and the additional advantage of a place where their children can bring and use their own bikes, scooters and wagons. nice airport but I wish they had another aviation day I never wanted to come down after flying one I was hooked
I went through ground school and got all my training hours in at Buchanan, so I’ll always consider this my home airport. Reporting 10 miles out over the Pittsburg stacks is like coming home. Google, Username: Shawn Clover
Jets have been flying VERY VERY low over Gregory Gardens residential and school grounds recently. I’ve been outside looking at the underbelly of a jet just barely over the homes. This must be outside of regulations. Google, Username: Debbi Murzyn
