   One of my worst experiences in aviation. It took over a month to arrange the small twin, Grumman Cougar so that I could do my ATP check ride. They require an MEI to fly the airplane. They don’t rent it out on a solo basis. When I finally got the airplane scheduled and the FAA examiner agreed to meet me at Malone Aviation, Mr. Malone became irate that we were running late. The examiner flew in from another location in FL.

   If there was some sort of problem, Mr. Malone was sending his young counter girl as a go between he and I. I finally, told her to let Mr. Malone he could talk to me directly. I then walked over to his office. Mr. Malone was verbally abusive and yelled at me that I can’t tell him what to do with his plane and he can take it whenever he needs it. He was red faced with bloodshot eyes. I immediately thought he may be drunk or recovering from a hang-over, so I just apologized for any misunderstanding and continued with my flight.

   I ended up getting my ATP ride done, but will never use this FBO ever again and will never recommend it to anyone. Google, Username: Allyn Hinton
